Mission Focus 2023

Hello Parents! This week, your children are embarking on a journey of understanding and celebrating God’s love and life-changing power. Through fun, games, crafts, music, and friendship, they will experience a special week to help them know Jesus and become His friend.  

We know as your kids experience Jesus’ love and goodness, God will prompt them to live for Him and make a monumental difference in the lives of others. We believe that VBS is a powerful tool for every kid, so again this year, ccKids Ministry is teaming up with one of our global partners, Empowering Lives International (ELI), to bring the same message of God’s love to vulnerable children in Kenya, East Africa.   In Africa, over a million children become orphans each year, facing a life of extreme neglect and poverty. These children face a bleak future filled with poverty's destructive barriers and limitations: lack of income, quality of life, education, health care, and security. For almost three decades, God has worked through ELI to transform hundreds of villages by providing skills, training, and the gospel of Jesus Christ to orphans and families affected by abject poverty.     Your children have a unique opportunity to share the message of God’s love and make a difference in kids’ lives in Africa by providing them with a VBS experience similar to what your kids are participating in this week!  How so? By bringing in donations to support the Clovis Christian Kids Missions Project! Your care makes a life-changing difference! A $10 donation is enough to cover the cost for one child in Kenya to attend a 5-day VBS and experience God’s transformational love. Every dollar and donation counts! Last year we raised just over $600 and we would love to top it this year! Together, we can empower these vulnerable children with God’s hope and strength through the monumental truth that the Creator of the universe loves and values them!
