Over the last weekend a team from CCC participated in a mission experience called
As the team toured and participated in the events for the weekend, they began to really understand the many ways that the Fresno Rescue Mission impacts downtown Fresno. Literally, the staff proclaimed the name of Jesus and talked of His power in every other sentence. This ministry loves Jesus! They love well and are very strategic in how they share the love of Jesus in word and deed. The team was blessed to be a part of this incredible experience. Because the team also knows our church body, and their servant hearts and love for people, they believe every single person would be blessed by this mission experience. One simple way we as a church can get involved to attend a chapel service at the Fresno Rescue Mission. They have chapel for anyone who wants to come, 365 days a year. You and your small group could go and fellowship amongst other believers and those who don’t yet know Jesus and are living in hopelessness. No invitation is required, all you have to do is show up. In the future, more opportunities will be presented in ways CCC can connect with the Fresno Rescue Mission in ministry in downtown Fresno.
