Swaziland Wrapup

July 28, 2016

Lord, thank you! I am so thankful for that you answered all my prayers for the team and this mission trip. I am so blessed to experience your almighty work in action, the unity and flexibility of our team, the growth in our faith and boldness of speech to proclaim your name. Your plan is prefect and your provision is abundant. I definitely see your love, hope, teaching, guidance, provision in this trip.

As we visited pre-schools, Good News clubs and home steads to share the bible stories and pray for the sick, the smiles and hugs, their faces and acts of friendship, and stories of believers deeply engraved into each of our hearts.

After seeing and hearing about the poverty and sufferings of children, brothers and sisters in Swaziland, I realize that how small and limited I am as human, however I see God's omnipotent and hope in Christ. "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy...you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.” (John 16:20-23 ESV)

Bless Corine's and her Swazi friends' hearts as they continue to do God's work in one of the poorest and remote area/communities in Swaziland. Please pray for the churches, pastors, and organizations in Swaziland to have strength, growth, and success in fulfilling God’s disciple-making mission in their context. Also, pray for travel mercy for Cathleen, Sharon and Corine as they are heading to Zambia to visit Taylor. Ben, Jessie, Rachel and I will be back home soon. Can't wait to share God's stories with all of you.
