Proposed daily schedule:
Sun 17 July - Collect team from airport 4:00 a.m. Transit to Swaziland
Mon 18 July - Visit Hope Rises preschools (4 communities)
Tues 19 July - Home visitation; visit the sick and share Bible stories/ prayer with the sick and their caregivers
Weds 20 July - Home visits again
Thurs 21 July - Flex day
Fri 22 July - Home visits a.m. / Attend Good News Club (GNC) after school
Sat 23 July - Attend GNC in remote rural area +150 children (team is welcome to share Bible stories with the club via translator or may elect to play games with the kids before club starts and then observe the club in action in other words you may be as involved as you wish)
Sun 24 July - Attend church service; each team member should be prepared to give a testimony and share Bible story or teaching (there is no time constraint)
Mon 25 July - Visit preschools one last time; we have a few options for this flex day
Other possible activities would be; visit a clinic or hospital, attend and share Bible stories at an evening Bible study for youth on Thursday evening (near my home), share Bible story during the morning assembly at a local school on Friday (we go there every Friday 7:30 a.m.).
Due to water restrictions (water is off from 1-5 pm daily) the cleaners prefer if we can start our day with breakfast by 7:00 a.m. That way you will be out of your rooms and they can start the washing and cleaning early.
Dinner is served each evening from 6:00 - 7:00 PM
