Message from Swaziland [ Connie ]

Lord, we praise you! You answered my prayers on the first day here by giving us an obedient heart to be flexible wherever,  whenever and whatever Holy Spirit lead us to serve you. Today I see that Your plan is better than our plan.

It was our first mission day in Swaziland. We were so excited and ready to visit 3 pre-schools in another town as we planned. After one hour driving, we found a gas station to fuel up the van. It was a blessing that the gas station attendant paid attention to what type of gas should put in our van. After checking with owner's menu, we realized that the type of gas was not available in any nearby gas station. We had to postpone the trip and return to our lodge. Without any grumble or disappointment, our team delightfully returned back to Tshania. Late on, Corine and Nomfundo (Corine's local friend, incredible young lady) were able to arrange us to visit Shalom pre-school which is located a walking distance from our lodge and we shared a bible story with their pre-school teachers. It was so powerful to see God's word speaking into and touching each of our hearts through our discussion. It was an unexpected and very rewarding visit. As Roman 8:28 said, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
