Faithfulness will sprout from the ground, and righteousness will look down from heaven. – Psalms 85:11Plants need a good foundation of soil to start their growth. For Christians, our “soil,” our foundation, is Christ. Christ nurtures us and supports us. He gives us a place to extend our roots in safety.Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4Just like a plant needs nutrient-rich soil to thrive, Christ gives his children every possible nutrient we would ever need: Peace, Love, Encouragement & Wisdom… and His supplies are unlimited. This is the concept, the Mission of Clovis Christian Church Sprouts Ministry. We are committed to the engagement and preparation of your children with the purpose of guiding each child to experience and respond to God’s love and to grow them to reach the next foundational step in Christ.

Beginning in infancy, children are spiritually formed for the Christian journey. As each child is a gift from God, we in such, take the responsibility of providing a safe and nurturing place for them at church every week seriously. Carefully screened volunteers provide excellent care for infants through 1 years of age in our church nursery.

Toddlers thrive with a variety of hands-on and active learning opportunities. We strive to meet this developmental need through the Sunday service curriculum designed just for them. Teachers use songs, fingerplay, learning centers, stories, and other age-appropriate methods to help toddlers experience God’s abundant love.
Location: Room 107
As children continue to grow, we offer the opportunity to belong to God’s family, grow in their faith, and serve in Jesus’ name. The Sunday school focus for the Pre-K and Kindergarten children is on the basics and fundamental Bible stories with fun and engaging lessons, worship, and crafts which continue to develop their concept into the next step of their faith walk.
