Sermon On the Mount

Fall Women's Study

Home / Sermon On the Mount

It’s been said that The Sermon on the Mount is perhaps the most beloved and least understood sermon ever preached. In this sermon, Jesus shows Himself to be the promised King and equips the citizens of His Kingdom to live a kingdom life in a fallen world by answering some of the most pressing questions that every Christian encounters: Does the law of God still have a place in the Christian life? How can I experience the abundant life promised? What does following Jesus look like in my life today?

In this nine-week study, Jen Wilkin will take us up the mount, and verse-by-verse give us the opportunity to hear and see the King afresh. We will come to understand the foundational truths that can change an ordinary life into the extraordinary Kingdom life that Jesus promises.

This is a “No Homework” study. Instead, we will look at some scripture, discuss the video and ask and answer questions that arise in our time together. Bring your Bibles and plan on making some sweet friendships!
